What is a Private Feed?

Private Feeds are how members get access to private content.

Each of your shows can be "public" or "private".

Public shows are generally distributed to a wide audience and are available for anyone to consume. Shows that are distributed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Google Podcasts are considered to be "public".

Private shows are intended for an audience of members, where you would like to control who has access to the show. The relationship between an individual member and a show is called a "Private Feed".

Whooshkaa supports a variety of ways to grant access to a members-only audience, including the Play Portal or Landing Pages.

Individual RSS feed links can be shared between people (giving potentially unintended people access to content). You may wish to create a strong agreement with your audience before granting access, or disabling this functionality in your show.
